“Joyful Sounds”   A Tribute to Elmer Iseler, 1927-1998 — Twenty years later.

Elmer   Iseler    offered   new   and   expanded   choral   experiences   to   enrich   our quality    of    life.    Lydia    Adams     brilliantly    continues    his    tradition    at    this concert   with   the   presentation   of   a   world   premiere   by   Latvian-Canadian composer    Imant    Raminsh     –    a    commission    generously    donated    by Elizabeth DeBoer and Ross Redfern.             This   legacy   concert   will   feature   video   projections    from   Elmer's   career, assembled by Toronto video technician  Edward Mock .             Special   guest   artists    include   Robert   Aitken ,   flute;   James   Campbell , clarinet;   and   David   Jaeger ,   host/producer.   The   program   will   also   include music from a stunning array of Canadian composers.
